Synopsis: Set in a cyber punk future with a elderly Bruce Wayne who is now retired from being Batman, Terry McGinnis is ready to take on the suit.

Review:The thought of Batman getting old never crossed my mind. I never read the comics, so excuse me, but I have always been a Batman fan. He is my favorite.

Terry is a high schooler who gets into fights but has a good sense of morals and is kinda fly at the mouth. In this future setting, we have Bruce playing help and Terry on the front line with a super tech suit. An all-black, sleek suit with a red Batman emblem on the front and red glider-like wings when in flight. It provides things like invisibility, flight, super strength, and more. So, with an upgraded suit and an upgraded Gotham, we get upgraded villains.

This focuses on a high school setting and Terry fitting into this new role. Unlike the others who trained as Robin, he's actually the replacement, the return, seeing as Bruce was already done for some years. There are some romantic hardships and betrayal, and it doesn't get old. Except for the occasional ass-whooping he receives. But we get to see him grow and learn from his mistakes.

If you're a Batman fan, you won't be disappointed!

Synopsis: Violet Evergarden was found by navy officer Dietfried as a child and later given as a "gift" to his brother Gilbert to be used as a tool for war. But at the end of the war Violet Evergarden is now writing to understand herself and her past.

Review: I really enoyed this story of Violet and the man from her past. They left the mystery aroud this whole series I felt like. You didnt get a deep background for any of the charceters, just enough to let you imagination go wild and to not be lost in the show. You watch Violet herself grow with each episode trying to actully understand human nature better and herself. As you go into the series you know she was used for war so any emoition Violet has is pretty much none to 0. Beside for the first few episodes, each one you got to see Violet connect to different people and it was nice to watch and see how the encounter would grow because her, herself wasnt't what everyone was expecting. An Violet herself is still learning about being human. So its a journey to discover ones self, and in this case the meaning of the words "I love You".

So if you like something thats easy going and heart warming, well I thought it was heart warming. Give this series a try it has a happing ending which is my favorite.

Synopsis: In this animated movie written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki, Chihiro is moving to a new town and on their way her dad decides to take a short cut and gets lost. Coming upon a dead end they decide to get out the car and make their way to what may be an abandoned theme park. Chihiro's father smells food and locates a food vendor. But Chihiro doesn't want any. The day grew dark and "spirits'' started appearing. When Chirio goes back to her parents they have kept eating and turned into pigs. Scared Chihiro runs away. While waiting by the river from which was just a green field before a boy named Haku finds her. Now with his help she must find her parents and a way back home from this spirit world.

Review: I might be biased but I love Miyazaki movies. He always makes strong female characters they don't need saving. I loved the theme of going to the spirited world. And who better to help than a handsome boy. Chihiro was headstrong and had a good heart which helped her throughout the movie. Every problem she solved on her own or with some little help. This was definitely a coming to age movie suitable for all ages.

This is a classic and a must see. If you like any other movies by Studio CHilbi you'll love this one.
